The DiGiorgio & Maiani families go back centuries in Italy. Both families came to the United States through Ellis Island in the early 1900s. The Maianis (JoAnn DiGiorgio’s family) is originally from the Independent Republic of San Marino and the DiGiorgio family is from Cassino, Italy.

Over the years, both families settled in South Florida in the 1960s, where Pasquale DiGiorgio came to meet JoAnn Maiani. Getting married in 1965 was just the beginning. Having two children, Robert & Gina, Pasquale wanted to get ahead using old family recipes… and the rest is history.
