About Cafe Largo
The DiGiorgio & Maiani families go back centuries in Italy. Both families started coming to the United States through Ellis Island in the early 1900’s. The Maianis (JoAnn DiGiorgio’s family) is originally from the Independent Republic of San Marino and the DiGiorgio family is from Cassino, Italy.

Over the years, both families came to settle in South Florida in the 1960’s, where Pasquale DiGiorgio came to meet JoAnn Maiani. Getting married in 1965 was just the beginning. Having two children, Robert & Gina, Pasquale had a desire to get ahead using old family recipes… and the rest is history.
